Concessions

At Harrogate Coach Travel, we provide well priced return fares offering a saving on two singles. These are all day returns and must be used on the day of purchase.

We also offer weekly tickets, available from the driver which offer a small discount on 5 days, but offer the sixth day for free. If you are looking at breaking your journey, or using more than one bus, buy a Day ticket priced at £6.50. This offers value for money and is the same price as a Ripon/Boroughbridge to York Return.

Over 60s

We are pleased to be a member of the North Yorkshire Concessionary Fares partnership and accept all English National Concessionary Travel Passes. These have a red rose logo at the top corner. In the County of North Yorkshire, these are valid for free travel after 0900 on Monday to Friday and all day Saturday. In the County of West Yorkshire, these are valid for free travel after 0930 on Monday to Friday and all day Saturday.

Under 5s

Under 5s travel free on all of our services. We welcome push chairs on our low floor vehicles – please telephone to confirm operation of a low floor buggy friendly bus.

Over 5 but under 16

Half fare applies to all of the above. From the age of 14, we recommend that you have a Scholar Saver pass which acts as proof of age. If you are in full time education, you can purchase one of these which is valid until your 18th Birthday. Currently we do not offer these, but we accept those issued by Transdev Harrogate District or Metro, or the York Yocard.
